1. ‘Game Nights’ at Nuvolar 🎲 🎮

For us, it’s a tradition! Every once in a while, the team gathers at the office, we all bring our favourite board games and video games and we spend the evening sharing some laughs and getting to know each other better.

Our amazing HR team takes care of everything, making sure we have plenty of snacks, drinks and delicious pizza—so it’s always the perfect combination!

Evenings filled with dice rolling, laughter, and a friendly dose of competition.

Whether we’re competing in teams or sharing laughs, each game night is an opportunity to strengthen our bonds.

 

2. Our Epic «Friday-Fun» Days! 🕺

That ‘Thank God it’s Friday‘ feeling gets even better when it’s time for our super «Friday-Fun» Day at Nuvolar! 

That’s what we call the team-building event we hold on the last Friday of each quarter. It means a lot to us because, after months of hard work and dedication, we love to celebrate the company goals and team objectives we’ve achieved together.

Whether it’s playing fun online games like Garlic Phone or Pictionary, competing in contests, or even, like last time, joining an online Escape Room organized by our amazing Social Committee—Friday-Fun Days are always a blast!

 

3. Carnival Time: Our Fancy Dress Contest! 🎭

The yearly Carnival Contest is a classic at Nuvolar, bringing out the creativity and competitive spirit.

One day a year, we give our people the opportunity to showcase their most inventive costumes by participating in the Carnaval Contest which is as much about fun as they are about team bonding.

Celebrated both in-person and online, is a perfect example of how we blend fun with our core values of unity and collective enjoyment.

 

4. That special time of the year… 🎄🎅

Christmas at Nuvolar is a vibrant affair, embodying the season’s spirit with a mixture of fun events that capture the season’s essence.

⭐ Nuvo-Quiz, Want to uncover the hidden talents and secret cravings? We’ve made a fun quiz based on our Meet the Team page to surprise our team, laugh, learn, and get to know each other better!

⭐ Dirty Santa, the thrilling twist on the traditional Secret Santa. Participants can «steal» gifts from one another, leading to hilarious and less-than-friendly exchanges that spread joy and excitement.

⭐ Our Fun Company Video: We put our heads together to write a script and act in a funny video to wish our clients, friends, and family a happy holiday season. Here’s an example:

 

5. Team Weekend Outs: Adventure & Team Bonding! 🏔️👫🏼

Our team weekend out is not just a break from the routine but a crucial team-building retreat everyone looks forward to. 

From outdoor adventures to relaxing getaways, these weekend experiences we share are not only fun but help us understand each other better, bridging gaps and building trust.

Here are some of the activities:

• Building cabins – fostering cooperation and creativity! 
• Haka dances – A Māori bold dance to feel strong as a team!
• Tug’o’war – Who could pull the rope the hardest!

Our unique approach ensures that even team members abroad are included, thanks to our social budget—a dedicated amount available to all team members that they can use to travel and join any of these events that bring us together.

6. Celebrating Summer ☀️

The annual Summer Party is a highlight for the Nuvofamily, to gather on cozy rooftops from our Barcelona offices.

It’s a time for everyone to kick back, enjoy the sun, and celebrate the year’s achievements. It’s also an excellent opportunity for team members to mingle in a non-work setting, enhancing interpersonal relationships.

7. The Annual ‘Calçotada’ Event🍴😋

Every February or March, we host our beloved Calçotada event, a Catalan tradition where we gather to enjoy delicious calçots, good vibes, and a bit of fun chaos.

This event is about more than food—it’s about leaving our professional roles behind and creating lasting memories together. The early spring sunshine and the rustic charm of grilling calçots add to the festive atmosphere.
